We are a full service architecture and interior design office based in New York, Western Massachusetts and working the Hudson Valley, Berkshires and beyond. We aim to elevate the quality of people’s lives through architecture by creating spaces that inspire discovery. Our approach is simultaneously exploratory, technical, and responsive to requirements of the project and sites on which we build. Our process intuitively reveals possibilities latent within every brief over a range of project types and scales including urbanism, buildings, houses, renovations, additions, interior design and furniture. SOFT LIGHT APARTMENT
Miami, Florida

Within the chaos of the Miami we were tasked with creating a calm refuge for a contemporary art collector. As a departure in our process, we could not ignore the harsh light of South Florida. So, we used light to create the serenity, a place in which lives can carry on within the contemplaction of a world class art collection.

 The entry is carved by light and leads you into the expansive living space. As light fills the apartment moments of color in art begin to emerge. Bathed in a soft light, everything is still yet focused, and because of the softness of the light we created, the eye adjusts slowly, revealing slowly and working affectually to create mood.
